Adams & Martin Group is seeking a Contracts Attorney to support a growing organization in the Twin Cities. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering the flexibility to work remotely.
Responsiblities:
- Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, compliance requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, vendor contracts, and customer agreements.
- Identify legal and business risks and provide practical recommendations to mitigate exposure and support business objectives.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations teams to support negotiations and facilitate timely deal execution.
- Manage the contract lifecycle, including execution, tracking key terms, renewals, and ongoing obligations.
- Develop and maintain contract templates, standard clauses, and playbooks to improve consistency and efficiency.
- Assist with process improvements and best practices to streamline contracting workflows and strengthen contract management.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree
- 3-8 years of experience in contract lifecycle management
- Skilled in drafting and negotiating various agreements
- Technology transacation experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a heavy workload in a multi-task environment with minimal supervision
